Antonia Loges (b. Hamburg, 1987) started learning the violin at a very early age and she was only seven when she won her first of many subsequent awards at competitions of young musicians. At the age of eleven, she took the entrance exam for the Mozarteum University. In 2002, she dedicated herself to violin studies and continued winning numerous awards. Especially noteworthy was her absolute victory with the maximum score at the International Youth Competition in Barletta, Italy. In the fall, 2006, she premiered Harmut Schmidt?s composition with the Trans ? Orchester which the composer dedicated to her. In that same year she became a Menuhin Foundation Scholar as one of the most talented young violinists in Europe.
Javor Bračić (b. Zagreb, 1985) is a student at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, studying in the class of Karl-Heinz Kämmerling. During his music studies, he has attended master-classes delivered by distinguished artists and teachers such as Dag Achatz, Peter Eicher, Diane Andersen, Albert Portugheisa, and several classes delivered by Karl-Heinz Kämmerling. He attended in two EPTA conferences (Norway 1999, Hungary 2000), participated in the 7th International ?Music. Youth. Hope.? Festival in Petrozavodsk in Russia 2002, and at the Darko Lukić Memorial in Osijek. He has performed with the Zagreb Soloists, and has held recitals in Croatia, France, and Germany. He has won a number of significant awards in Croatia, Italy, and Belgium, including the first prize at the following competitions: Etudes and Scales (1998), Luigi Stramesi (2001), Les Rencontres des Jeunes Pianistes (2001), Zlatko Grgošević Competition (2002), Rassegna Internazionale per giovani pianisti (2001), EMCY chamber music competition (2002).
